Job Description

Marketing Manager

 

Our growing client in Woburn is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team. In this on-site role, you will be responsible for building brand awareness to grow the company from regional to national.  You will head up the marketing efforts from strategy to implementation of campaigns. You will deploy successful marketing campaigns and own the implementation from ideation to execution to drive customer acquisition.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a successful marketing strategy in collaboration with sales and product leaders
  • Establish strong working relationships with internal partners including Sales, Operations, Product and Engineering
  • Develop a yearly budget for the marketing team
  • Run influencer campaigns, managed PPC, and created automated flows
  • Drive awareness of a brand with the right audiences
  • Develop positioning and messaging that effectively differentiates product/service from the competition
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to enable the sales team to effectively understand the customer buying journey and articulate the value of our products to prospects; stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends
  • Own marketing strategy and planning to help Evolve reach its sales targets
  • Establish marketing KPIs and reporting
  • Establish go-to-market strategies
  • Organize team (including outside vendors) around shared goals and hold them accountable to metrics
  • Define/refine the brand messaging, positioning, and competitive advantages
  • Work with leadership to identify brand-building opportunities
  • Manage planning, development, and execution of all marketing campaigns, initiatives, and events
  • Manage all social media efforts, search engine optimization efforts and oversee management of external websites
  • Negotiate annual marketing contract renewals with job board vendors
  • Develop strategies and tactics to boost reputation, drive awareness and own a dominant position in a niche industry

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing; MBA or Master’s in Marketing preferred
  • SEO and PPC experience, certifications preferred
  • 5-7 years’ experience in marketing, 2+ years of management experience
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and creatively devising and leading campaigns across marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and convert
  • Have a deep knowledge of e-commerce technology and web analytics
  • Proven ability to understand the financial impact of marketing decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong drive for results
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional communication skills
