Job Description

Digital Marketing Contractor – Marketo

 

Our Fortune 100 insurance client is looking for a Digital Marketing Contractor, Marketo to join their team for a long-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of content on digital channels (website and LinkedIn) as well as executing email marketing campaigns to both build familiarity and loyalty among existing clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns for a diverse set of business units across all digital channels including website, email campaigns, social media platforms, and marketing automation platform
  • Track, report and optimize paid and non-paid tactics on client’s digital channels and third-party channels on a regular cadence and determine metrics to analyze for continuous optimization, partnering with advertising lead
  • Execute email marketing campaigns to promote thought leadership and generate leads
  • Draft email messaging for thought leadership papers, create invites for webcasts (with goal of generating leads), manage campaigns in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific, monitor statistics and look for ways to improve the open and click thru rates
  • Work with marketing, sales and investments teams as well as legal and compliance partners to decide what content needs to be added to the website, what content needs to be removed and what content needs to be enhanced
  • Work with advertising lead to support website needs for advertising efforts
  • Manage LinkedIn page, write copy and schedule postings
  • Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure all materials posted on digital channels have been approved including the appropriate disclaimers
  • Work with the Finance Department to obtain all relevant asset under management figures to post to website on a quarterly basis
  • Conduct competitive analysis on competitors’ websites and social media channels to determine ways to improve and better position client’s digital channels as well as improve the client experience
  • Work with digital agencies to design website or email templates and manage reporting metrics
  • Tag content and implement search engine optimization techniques

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant discipline
  • 4+ years of marketing experience, including 2+ years of website, social media and email marketing experience preferably in a financial services role
  • Experience in Marketo Engage solution, and SalesForce Sales Cloud (CRM)
  • Preferred experience in Salesforce Pardot, Hootise, or Adobe Campaign
  • Working knowledge of channel specific marketing (Email, LinkedIn, Web, SEO, SEM, Paid Search, etc.); digital analytics; and automation solutions
  • Demonstrated success in the implementation of digital marketing solutions, partnering with technical teams in the development of automation requirements and/or supporting systems deployment
  • Knowledge of basic HTML
  • Ability to think strategically, understand business risk and apply creative problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with ability to make/contribute to recommendations; and prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines by utilizing problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with internal clients, vendors and colleagues, working with distributed international stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills; highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Copywriting experience in digital channels, with the ability to write compelling copy for webcast invites, email marketing pieces, LinkedIn posts and website content preferred
