Job Description

Lead Marketing Project Specialist

 

Our technology client in Cambridge is looking for a Lead Marketing Project Specialist to join their team for a long-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of the Marketing related aspects of our client’s all new Executive Briefing Center. Through superior planning and project management techniques, you will support the marketing team in their efforts to create the most unique and engaging executive briefing experience possible, while ensuring the space is completed and ready for use with current/potential clients on-time and under budget.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Project manage marketing related workstreams for the Executive Briefing Center; build trust with stakeholders, align cross functional teams around a clear scope of work, process workflow, timeline, and budget
  • Serve as the centering player between the innovation & experience team, creative teams, channel teams and strategy teams, as well as project sponsor
  • Optimize preparation and production processes through methodical planning, execution, and post-project retrospectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers across the marketing organization to share best practices and lessons learned

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant discipline
  • 3+ years of experience project managing complex events, digital projects or programs
  • Strong project management, work prioritization, leadership, facilitation and relationship building skills
  • Experience developing project and/or campaign briefs and developing and managing project timelines
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • A track record of effectively collaborating with diverse teams and delivery organizations to meet project goals with proactive risk identification and mitigation skills
  • Strong client service orientation and instinct to “do the right thing” in unfamiliar situations
  • Passion for operational excellence through creative problem solving and standard work
  • Experience with Marketing Agency service delivery model
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kan Ban, Lean/Six Sigma principles is a plus
